Dr. Bren O’Connor, DDS

Born and raised in Centerville, Iowa, Dr. Bren O’Connor developed an early appreciation for small-town values and the importance of community. He attended the University of Iowa, where he participated in the Air Force ROTC program, and upon graduation, served six years on active duty with the United States Air Force. After his military service, Dr. O’Connor returned to Iowa to pursue his dental degree at the University of Iowa College of Dentistry.

Dr. O’Connor’s approach to dentistry is family-friendly and patient-centered, emphasizing personalized care, open communication, and a comfortable experience for patients of all ages. He believes in combining modern technology with genuine compassion to help every patient achieve lifelong oral health.

In addition to his private practice at North Dodge Dental, Dr. O’Connor serves as an Adjunct Faculty Member in the Department of Family Dentistry at the University of Iowa College of Dentistry, where he enjoys mentoring the next generation of dental professionals.

Dr. O’Connor is an active member of the American Dental Association, the Iowa Dental Association, the University District Dental Society, and the Academy for Private Dental Practice.

Outside the office, Dr. O’Connor and his wife, Kate, stay busy raising their three children—Braden, Ada, and James—and enjoying the many community and outdoor activities that make the Iowa City area home.
